Vintage14K Yellow Gold Dual Sapphire Schlumberger Oil Field 10 Year Service Pin

Description

This is a 10 year service pin given by Schlumberger, a multinational oilfield service company.  It dates from 1974.  Made with 14k (as stamped) yellow gold, it has two sapphire stones, and a total weight of 2.2 gm.  It has a pin for a  butterfly type clasp, but the butterfly clasp is not included.
On the backside is stamped “cTo. 14k”. The cTo is the trademark of the company that manufactured the pin: O.C. Tanner jewelry co., Salt Lake City, UT, and the 14k refers to the gold purity.
The pin measure 9/16” long x 1/4” high.
