    This listing is for a very neat old service 40 year tie bar for the Government Printing Office.
    This tiebar is made of 1/20
    th
    12kt gold filled.
    The 40 year shield is applied to the gf tie clasp and is marked and made of 10k solid gold.
    The applied 10k gold piece has a prong set ruby.
    The entire tiebar is about 1.625 inches long.
    If I had to guess this pin tiebar is from the 1940s or 1950s.
    You collectors decide for sure.  It is in very good ocndition with some scuffs and scratches.  There is one
    noticeable
    on near the end of the tiebar.
