    Description

    This is a vintage teapot by Ellgreave Pottery, a division of Wood and Sons, made in England. Beautiful teapot decorated with pink and yellow roses and gold trim. The body of the teapot is ribbed with a smooth center. The bottom contains the Ellgreave backstamp with the pattern number 848 in gold. It is also impressed with "Made in England".
    The teapot is in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, scratches or crazing. Very clean, looks unused. Approx. dimensions: 5 1/2" tall with the lid, 9" long with spout and handle, 5" wide, it holds approx. 32 oz.
    Vintage: Established in 1921, Ellgreave Pottery operated as an associate company of Wood & Sons until it closed in 1981.
