Description
This item is a lapel pin considered to date to the early to mid-1900s, and it is an attendance award from Peoria County Illinois. It is composed of gilt metal with the use of navy blue enamel in the design. There are two Union logos on the reverse, along with the manufacturer's mark (Greenduck, Chicago). There is a hinged attachment pin with locking catch.This item measures approximately 14 x 11 mm (9/16 x 7/16").
This pin is in very fine condition, with no evident wear or damage. There are very limited signs of handling, with some soiling on the back side. The pin retains a nice bright gold color, and both the metal and enamel are bright. The attachment pin and locking catch work well.
